Joe and I arrived in Columbia on Sunday, June 13, which also happens to be Melissa's birthday. It was a hot day
and we were ready to unload all the stuff in the car and the truck and check out the new house. We called the realtor
that had the keys for the house, and we were to meet her at the house. We were actually ahead of schedule and we arrived
at the house earlier than we had initially told her we should be in town. She pulled up a few minutes after we did and
was surprised to see us. She had balloons and a gift with her and was trying to get into the house before we arrived
and set them up. We still enjoyed the balloons and gift and shortly after, our friends who live in Columbia from college
days, showed up with some champagne to celebrate our move back to Columbia.
Since our move to Columbia we have been trying to get settled in our new house. We are one room short in our house.
We don't have a room for the treadmill and a place for me to do my scrapbooking. So we are converting the current garage
to a rec room and adding a new two car garage.
